EILEEN ANNE McCLOSKEY

Eileen was born on August 28, 1938, in Minot, ND to John and Bernice Pierson. She passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Eileen loved her family and friends and leaves behind a legacy of laughter, goofiness and love. Eileen graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1956. Soon after graduation she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Mc- Closkey, and together they raised seven children. Eileen spent the first 28 years of her life in North Dakota before moving to sunny Fresno, California with her husband and six of their children. Once in Fresno another son, was added to the family; the family was now complete. Nothing gave her more pleasure than being a wife and a mother. Eileen leaves behind a wealth of memories and many loved ones who will miss her greatly. The world is a better place tor her having lived. "We will miss you, and we thank you for being such a loving wife, mother, grammi, sister., and friend." She was preceded in life by her son, Scott McCloskey; grandson, Kyle Runciman; and son-in-law, Dick Smith. Eileen is survived by Bob, her loving husband of 57 years; sister, Grace White and her husband Jon; brother-in-law, Don Mc- Closkey and his wife Mary; daughter Susan; daughter-in-law Donna; son Michael and his wife Staci; daughter Dawn and her husband Thomas; daughter Laurie; daughter Heather and her husband Ben; and son John and his wife Jeanelle; 16 beautiful grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. To honor her memory a Celebration of Eileen's Llife will be held at the Peoples Church Chapel, 7172 North Cedar Ave., in Fresno, on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. Donations may be made in Eileen's; memory to Kyle's Kids at the Aquarius Aquarium Institute, 5541 Columbia Dr. North, Fresno, CA 93727.
