ELIZABETH ENNS "Beth" CALKINS

Elizabeth "Beth" Enns Calkins, age 97, was a lifelong resident of the Dinuba, CA, and Reedley, CA area. She was born on March 13, 1920, and passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She was a retired medical receptionist for doctors, Wonderly and Ruminson of Dinuba. Her family, uncle Pete, were the original owners and establishers of two Tulare county communities known as New London, and Delph Community. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Bartch; her father, Jacob Enns; beloved husband Kelly; and their son, Earl Calkins. She leaves behind twin daughters, Terry Rodman and her husband John of Clovis, CA, and Patty Becker and her husband Ken of Pollock Pines, CA; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five cherished nieces and nephews; and several special friends that she loved and adopted as family. A special thanks to a special adopted daughter and sister, Lou McMullen, for assisting in her care and being my accountability go to in the care of my mom. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the Dinuba Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be lovingly accepted at Dinuba Junior Academy, 218 South Crawford Avenue, Dinuba, CA 93618, the cherished elementary school she attended as a child.
