Gerald "Jerry" Albert Emerzian

Fresno, California - Gerald "Jerry" Albert Emerzian, 84, of Fresno, California, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2025, in Fresno.

Born on March 14, 1941, in Fresno to Albert and Zabelle Emerzian, Jerry was a lifelong resident of the Central Valley. He graduated from Fresno High School and attended Fresno City College before pursuing his passion for agriculture. He left college to learn the farming business, which he truly loved. Later, he earned his real estate license and became a successful broker specializing in agricultural and farm properties.

Jerry married Rosalyn Kasaian, and together they raised two daughters. He cherished time with his family and enjoyed Fresno State football games and Sundays at Millerton Lake on his boat. His family remained the center of his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosalyn, his parents Albert and Zabelle Emerzian, and his brother Phillip Emerzian.

Jerry is survived by his daughters Jeanine Richburg and her daughters Giana and Gillian; Jennifer Blum and her husband Aaron and their children Tessa, Jaxon, and Brody; his brother Leslie Emerzian and his wife Janice; nephews David Emerzian and his wife Natalie with their children Olivia, Jacob, and Scarlett; Aaron Emerzian and his wife Ashley with their children Ava, Caden, and Kaia; and his sister Susan Emerzian.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10:30 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720. A graveside service will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, or the Central California SPCA.

Jerry will be remembered for his warmth, humility, sense of humor, and generosity.
