HERBERT MILLER

Herbert M. Miller was born in Fresno on April 11, 1922. He passed away peacefully on January 2, 2010. Herbert served in the Army under General Patton in Africa as a tank commander during World War II and the 38th Parallel during the Korean War. He managed Electric Laboratories for 50 years prior to his retirement. His passion for golf and membership at the Kings River Country Club brought him great joy. Herbert is preceded in death by his son Timothy H. Miller. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 64 years, Irene Miller; son Tom Miller and his wife Linda; daughter Kathy Dwight and her husband Robert; son Kent Miller and Michael Keranen; grand-daughter Kimberly Bledsoe and her husband Terry; grandsons Dylan Croff and Jonathan Miller; great-grandchildren Kelsie Taft and Chance Bledsoe; and beloved cat Cookie. A Memorial Service will be held at Chapel of the Light on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
