JACQUELINE CHRISTENSEN Obituary

Jacqueline Barrack Christensen was born on January 14, 1924, and passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at age 87. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother Jackie also worked as a secretary in Fresno, Ca. She loved church, singing, sewing and leading girl scouts. In retirement she enjoyed painting, hand crafts and music while living near Oakhurst/ North Fork, Ca. She loved her family and grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them. While we are heartbroken and will miss her smile, we are very thankful for the influence she had on her family and for her unconditional love. Jackie is survived by Martin Leroy, her husband of 64 years; her two children, Karen and Richard and their spouses; also five grandchildren, Erik, Brett and Lance Soderberg and his wife, and Trevor and Kira Christensen. She is also survived by her sister, Laura Anna Larsen; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Agnes Hospice of Fresno; or Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church of Oakhurst. CLOVIS FUNERAL CHAPEL 1302 Clovis Avenue Clovis (559)298-7536
