Joan Pregno Obituary

Joan Pregno
May 2, 1939 - March 21, 2022
Clovis, California - It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Joan Pregno. Joan was born in Pueblo, Colorado, but lived most of her life in Clovis. Joan graduated from Clovis High School in 1957, then at the age of 18, she started working for Pacific Bell Telephone Company, where she retired after 33 years of employment.
Joan loved to volunteer and was involved in the Clovis Community Hospital Guild for many years, where she was recognized as a "Health Care Hero."
Joan is survived by her husband, Butch Pregno, and her children, Duane and Charisse Patterson, and Bruce and Sandy Patterson. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

So sorry to read about Joan's passing. We met when we were 18 at the telephone company, were close friends, had an apartment together for six weeks, near work, but she couldn't afford upkeep on her little Nash Metropolitan, and we had to move back home. So many good memories over the years, and I loved her. We got a ticket for holding up traffic dragging the main in front of the Wilson Theater, went horseback riding and couldn't sit down at work for a week. Butch, I didn't know you, but you're in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss and mine! I started first grade with 5 cousins and they called us the 39ers. Joan was one of them. I loved her and will miss her dearly and her phone calls. Praying for you!

I am so sorry for your loss. I only remember meeting her once in my life as a little girl only because of video that was taken and I still have. Joan´s mom Minnie was my grandmothers sister. She mailed me a letter and some family memorabilia last year. RIP sweet lady.
