Dearest Sandy and family,
We are extremely saddened by Joe's passing. When the four of us had dinner together in your home while visiting from New Jersey awhile back, we couldn't have felt more welcomed and relaxed. Joe cooked for us and it was fabulous. Mick was elated for Joe to have found the love of his life in you. He has lots of stories he's been telling me of young Joe and his brothers. Mick is heartbroken by the loss of his cousin. But, the good memories are flowing which is all we can ask for, to be remembered with love.
Our love and thoughts are with you and the memory of one of the sweetest of Mikkelsen men.

Sandy,
So many years have passed and through the years that I and my friend Linda have been going to your resturant you and JO have always welcomed us with great warmth and always a wonderful smile -though you have gone through so much working hard and taking care of your family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Linda and Sally

Sandy,
From my family to yours, our thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so glad I got to have lunch with Joe recently. He was a great co worker and a great friend. He was a pleasure to work. I was always impressed with his honesty and integrity. He was one of the "Good Guys"! Please let me know if you ever need anything. Stay strong!
