JOHN SALINAS

John E. Salinas of Fresno, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, after a year long battle with Esophageal Cancer, surrounded by his loving family and very dear friends. He was born in Fowler on October 30, 1945. John drove trucks for Lee- Way Motor Freight for 17 plus years and ABF Systems for 25 years. He was always proud to be a Teamster! He loved to travel to the coast and mount-ains with his 5th wheel and had many memories with his family. He was also proud of his "sago farm" and his "72" classic Chevy pick-up. He will always be close to our heart. John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sarah Salinas; and his sister Frances Dennis. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Kathy Salinas of Fresno; his two sons, Ryan Salinas and his wife Nicole of Thousand Oaks and Kevin Salinas of Fresno; grandson Jax Salinas (the love of his life), along with many dear friends. A Graveside Service will be held at Fowler Cemetery District on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the G.L.
