Jordan Titius Obituary

Jordan Titius
January 14, 1991 - January 20, 2021
Fresno, California - Jordan Mark Titius was born in Fresno as the third child of Cynthia and Michael Titius on January 14, 1991. He grew up active in soccer teams and band, as well as an excellent student. Jordan graduated from Bullard High in 2009, graduated with a degree in Microbiology from UC Santa Cruz, and then met the love of his life, Carissa, while living in Santa Cruz in 2015. Together they travelled far and wide with many great adventures. From cooking in other countries, to concerts all over the state. He continued his schooling for two years while also finding a passion for cooking in Pleasanton. He dreamed of owning a food truck with Carissa and sharing his love of food with those around him. As his devotion to the culinary world was developing into a career, he was diagnosed with an aggressive Stage 4 gastric cancer, and all of his dreams were put on hold. The treatments were strenuous and many, but there was no sign of curing the cancer. Jordan Titius passed away gracefully and peacefully on January 20th 2021 surrounded by family and friends who loved him fiercely and dearly. Jordan is survived by his wife, Carissa Titius, mother Cynthia Titius DDS, grandmother Mae Kong, brother and sister, James and Jessica Titius, their respective spouses Maria Sandoval- Aguirre Titius and Garroll White, 7 nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends, and his dog, Bene. He was a loving, kind and selfless person who would always brighten up the room and the most darling husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend the world could have asked for. His humor, contagious smile, creative and adventurous cooking, and taste in music were some of the many gifts he had to offer this world. The family and friends will continue to cherish their fond memories of him and he'll live on forever in all of their hearts. He will be deeply and dearly missed by many. In lieu of flowers, the family is kindly asking for donations to be made the Gastric Cancer Foundation in hopes that at least one less person has to go through what he did.

I miss him every day. I'll miss his friendship, his easy-going demeanor, and mostly his sense of humor. I find comfort in speaking with his family, who I feel lucky to have a strong relationship with.

Thank you for writing a beautiful obituary for such a great guy.
