Lita Gleim

LITA GLEIM Lita Gleim was born September 10, 1930, in Blossom, (LaMar County) Texas. She died on Friday, August 18, 2006. Her late parents were Shelton Greenberry and Dealie Audrey Williams. Lita attended school at Pattonville, Loneoak and Deport Texas. Her family moved to Fresno, California in July 1946. Lita graduated from Roosevelt High School in June 1948. Lita married Robert Fredrick Gleim on February 17, 1950. She was employed at Pacific Bell Telephone Co. for several years and later she worked at Dr. Calmes office. Lita was member of the Cedar Avenue Baptist Church for many years. She was very active in Awana Club and the "clubbers" loved her alot. Lita loved the Lord, her Pastor Del Foote and his wife Barbara, her church family, her loved ones and friends. She lived a beautiful life as an example to everyone. She will be missed. Lita is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, "Bob", Robert Fredrick Gleim Sr. They had a wonderful happy marriage.She has two sons and their wives, Gary and Sandy of Fresno, California, and Robert and Jeanne, of Gig Harbor, Washington. Lita has seven precious grandchildren, Brian, Erin, Michael, Candice, Holly, Chris, and Mark; and two great-grandchildren, Kenny and Quilin. She is also survived by five brothers and one sister, Travis Williams, of Fresno, California, Warren Williams of Modesto, California, Lee Campbell of Corvallis, Oregon, Carl and Judy Williams of Fresno, California, Joe Williams of Anchorage, Alaska, and Eddy and Yvonne of Boise, Idaho; and sister-in-law, Fran Williams of Fresno, California. A Memorial Service will be held at Cedar Avenue Baptist Church, 535 N. Cedar Ave. in Fresno on Wednesday August 23, 2006, at 12:00 noon.
