LOIS LAYGO Obituary

Lois Laygo, much beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and leader in the Filipino-American community, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2013, the day before her 81st birthday. Lois was born to Gervacio and Rosario Mati on September 22, 1932, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She married Dr. Paul Laygo in 1951, and moved to the United States in 1960. Lois was an avid gardener and world traveler. With husband Paul, she was known to be a gifted matchmaker as attested to by many happy couples. She was thoroughly devoted to her Catholic Faith, her husband, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her many friends, and the Filipino community.
