LUPE GALLARDO

The gates of Heaven opened for Lupe and she was embraced by our loving God on Wednesday, June 29, 2005. Mom was a homemaker for 42 years but she was much more than that. She was a wife, granny, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter and best friend. Her home was always open to everyone. Mom had the greatest sense of humor; her laughter was contagious and her legacy of love and forgiveness will live on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lupe was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Lorenzo, who was waiting for her in great anticipation; her parents, Salvador and Guadalupe Roman; her brother, Salvador Roman; and sister, Ruth Olivas. She is survived by her children and grandchildren: daughter Lisa and her husband Gilbert and their children and grandchildren, Sarah, Cindy, Jenna and Bryan Escamilla and Nicholas and Bailey Bracamonte; daughter Geneva and husband John and their children and grandchildren, Reyna, Adriana, Anthony, Alexandria, Stephen, Anthony, Jr., Nadia and Daniel Reyes; daughter, Linda Gallardo and her life partner, Valerie Valverde; only son, Jose Lorenzo and his children and grandchild, Joseph, Jennifer and Nikkiann Gallardo and Mathew Garcia; daughter Julianna and her children, Amanda, Rico, Samantha, Brianna Romero and her baby girl, Maria Gallardo; and Chemo, her loving doggie. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., followed by Burial at Mt. View Cemetery.
