Margot Droese Obituary
October 4, 1937 - February 6, 2020
Clovis, California - Margot Droese, 82, passed away peacefully from this life in the early morning hours of February 6, 2020 after suffering from an autoimmune disease (bolus pemphigoid) and then slowly recovering, only to lose her battle with Alzheimer's. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family by her side during the last days of her life at home. Margot was born in Berlin, Germany, on October 4, 1937. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic her services were postponed. Now it is time to lay her to rest.
Margot is survived by her five children: Liane Crawford (Kenneth), Gabriele Kringlebotten, Bud Lawless (Brenda Caldwell), Debora Granum, Ricky French, Sr.; grandchildren: Remi Kringlebotten, Shannon Thompson, Joany Crawford, Tabatha Irvine (Patrick), Robert McGuire (Bre), Ricky French, Jr., Kristen Lawless, Joanna DePriest (Cody), Jenna French, Hayley French, Joshua French, Jacob French, Jaxson French; great-grandchildren: Sienna Dailey, Justin Waters, Beau Dailey, Lyla French, Amelia Munt, Keaton Dailey, Parker DePriest, Ryker DePriest, Roan Shason.
Margot is also survived by her brother Claus Dieter Dröse.
She was preceded in death by her father Kurt Walter Dröse; step-father Karl Vossberg; mother Erna Vossberg; brother Jürgen Dröse; and sisters Renate Dröse and Karin Droese.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Clovis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
