Maria Leyva Obituary

MARIA A. LEYVA Mari Leyva lived life with God and Family. She passed away on Friday, November 26, 2004. Even in Mari's final days she continued to ask for blessings for her loved ones. Mari's devotion to God and her faith made her a person that touched many lives. Mari is loved and will be remembered by many. "Nos ensenaste a usar las abilidades con las que Dios nos bendicio. Con tu ejemplo, carino y amor seguiremos siendo una familia unida." A special, "Thank You" to Father Brian Culley, the Parishioners of St Anthony Mary Claret and the wonderful staff at Optimal Hospice. Mari was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jesus D. Leyva. She is survived by her children, Connie L. Vargas and her husband Demetrio, Rosalinda L. Hernandez and her husband Manuel, Jesse M. Leyva II and his wife Sandra, Patricia L. Jasso and her husband Manuel, Ernesto M. Leyva and his wife Aimee; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren Visitation will be held at Palm Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Church. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Claret Catholic Church on Thursday, December 2, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. alm2,,100,p PALM COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME2983 Tulare Street(559) 233-7267
