Mary Giannopoulos Obituary

Our Mary, daughter of Christina and Panagiotis of Nestani, Greece, and one of eight children, was laid to rest on Thursday, and with her, the heartbeat of a generation grows fainter. Two sisters, Thalia and Dorothy, were especially devoted to her care because she was special, and even after she was placed in a group home, their selfless love and compassion extended to her at every holiday, birthday and weekend visit to their family home on Dayton. We are all thankful that Mary lived to celebrate her 77th birth-day surrounded by sisters-in-law, her brother, nie-ces, nephews and grand-nieces and grandnephews Mary was and will remain our sweet girl. She is survived by bro-ther Bill and his wife Lisa. Remembrances may be made to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church. SERENITY Funeral Services 5042 North Fresno Street Fresno, Ca. (559) 244-6330
