MARY ROSSANO STEWARD

A proud lifelong resident of Clovis, Mary passed on to be with the Lord on Friday, June 18, 2010, due to complications of Leukemia. She was born on June 8, 1924, in the original Clovis Hospital. Mary was inducted into the Clovis Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in 1997 or her lifetime commitment to the Clovis Community. The family would like to thank her caregivers Hilda and Nancy, along with Hinds Hospice for their loving care and support. She is survived by Cliff Steward, her husband of 64 years;her three children, Doylene Evans, Shirley Coberly and Duane Steward. She was happily known as "Grammie" to her five grandchildren, and her six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel on Wednesday June 23, 2010, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Clovis on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Clovis Cemetery will immediately follow.
