I had the privilege of working with Norman providing therapeutic exercises during the last 3 years of his life. He was always willing to do the work and proved to be very strong and resilient for being almost 100 years old. I enjoyed listening to Norman regale stories of his many adventures experienced throughout his life during World War 2 in Papua, New Guinea particularly Norman's encounter with the late comedian, Bob Hope who personally shook his hand for serving our country. Norman had a sense of humor and always made me feel like part of the family.
I am glad that I had the chance to visit Norman on his last day of life to say, Good bye. I am happy that Norman is no longer in pain and is in a better place. Rest in peace and farewell, my friend.
