PHILLIP HARPER Obituary

Philip passed away on July 1, 2014, after losing his long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born in January of 1963 and raised in Fresno. After graduating from Central High School in 1981, he continued his education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, earning a degree in architecture. Soon after, he returned to Fresno to raise his family and continue his career as an architect. Known for his great sense of humor, dry wit, and sparkling eyes, Philip always gave everyone a great laugh. He had an amazing outlook on life and remained positive throughout it all. Philip is survived by his children, Jessica, Lindsay, Alexander; his wife Karen; his parents, Richard and Mary Harper; his brother Stephen and his wife Becky; his four sisters, Annmarie, Paula, Karen and her husband, Rob Rooke, and Monica and her husband, Pierre Segoune. He was a proud uncle, and had a great love for his large extended family and friends. He is now joining all of those who left before him, and would like those of us left behind to 'live long and prosper'.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Llife will be held on Monday August 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at St. Paul Newman Center; 1572 East Barstow, Fresno, CA 93710.
