Richard Avakian Obituary

RICHARD A. AVAKIAN Richard was born on June 11, 1934, in Fresno and passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at the age of 70. He was the owner of Broadway Cyclery for 50 years. He is survived by his daughter Shiela and her husband, Monte Olson of Fresno; son, Gene Avakian and his wife Deanna of Stockton; sister, Dolores Silva of Idaho; and grandchildren, Matthew Olson, and Taylor and Tyler Slaydon. In loving memory of a great man, a loving father and grandfather who passed his passion of fishing and hunting to all he touched." Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, from 10:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Calaveras Chapel on Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at 10:00 a.m.
