Robert Smith Obituary

Robert C. Smith
October 20, 1941 - March 24, 2022
Peoria, Arizona - Bob passed away at home with his loving wife & daughter at his side. Bob was born to Kenneth & Ida Smith and graduated from Bullard High School in 1959. He was a masonry contractor for more than 40 years and was a true artisan in his craft. He retired in 2010, moved to North Carolina with his wife Kimberly and then fulfilled his dream of retiring in Arizona in 2020, all the while making friends and traveling all over.
He loved to tinker and was so proud of his Model A street rod, Harley-Davidson Fatboy and the 883 Sportster he customized for Kim.
Bob was also a ham radio operator for many years. He loved making friends all over the world. He was a member of organizations related to all those interests and was also a Bulldog booster for years.
Bob loved to travel, play golf and hang out with friends by the pool. He had 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. We love and miss you.
Sitting with a glass of Rombauer Chardonnay, K6US signs off for the last time.
A celebration of life will be held at Dominion Courtyard Villas banquet room 1650 E Shepherd Ave. on Saturday April 9, 2pm

I met Bob when I was a sophomore and he was a senior at Bullard. I never saw Bob after he graduated but he made an impression on me by treating me as a "regular" person. Truly nice guy.
