Slavko Igic

SLAVKO IGIC Slavko was born on September 4, 1922, in Titel, Yugoslavia. When he was four years old, his family immigrated to Argentina where he lived for 30 years. On December 11, 1955, at the age of 33, he married Mildred Illich from Detriot, MI. In August of 1957, Slavko and Mildred settled in the Detroit area. He served as a Minister of the gospel for 40 years traveling much and ultimately settling in the Fresno area in September of 1987. Slavko passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2003. He leaves behind his beloved wife Mildred (Illich) Igic; his daughter, Marta and her husband Todd Gerber of Glendale, AZ; and his sons, Jim Igic and his wife Mira of Clovis, CA, Steve Igic of Madera, CA, Mark Igic and his wife Olga of Vista, CA, and Gerald Igic of Monument, CO. In addition, he is survived by six sisters and two brothers in Argentina. He also leaves behind four grandsons and four granddaughters who loved him dearly. A Funeral Service will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Clovis District Cemetery.
