Stanley Haynes Obituary

STANLEY EUGENE HAYNES "GENE" Gene, of Prather, CA, was born August 24, 1924, and passed away on April 25, 2003, at the age of 78 in Fresno, CA. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emily Haynes, and his wife, Betty Haynes of 45 years. Gene is survived by his wife, Evelyn Haynes; two sisters, Jessie McGowan and Ruby Savage; daughters, Donnis and her husband, Stephen Hobbs of Exeter, CA and Dorothy and her husband, Gene McPhetridge of North Fork, CA; five grandchildren he loved very much, Bradley Hobbs of Exeter, CA, Brenton Hobbs of Visalia, CA, La Staci Howe of Madera, CA, Genene McPetridge of North Fork, CA and Kyler McPetridge of North Fork, CA, and eight great grandchildren. He also was survived by three stepchildren and their families. Gene retired from the State of California after 35 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and motorhoming with his family and friends. Gene was the past President of the Eagles Lodge in Sanger, CA. Visitation will be held at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Sanger Cemetery on Thursday, May 1, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to Valley Parkinson's Support Group, c/o Barbara Senter, 8751 S.
