STUART TIMOTHY "Tim" WEISS

Stuart Timothy Weiss went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 7, 2018, after a a seven month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Tim was born on August 21, 1947, in Fresno, CA. Tim played trumpet with the Fresno High School Band, Class of 1965. A business major, he graduated California State University, Fresno in 1969. Tim was employed by Community Medical Regional Centers as a Contract Analyst for over 35 years. Tim loved a great Formula One race. He enjoyed going to Laguna Seca and attended many Grand Prix races. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Weiss; mother, Joyce Brase Killion; his wife of 42 years, Virginia (Ginger) June Gulke Weiss; and his precious min-pin Goldie. Tim is survived by his step-daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Gregory Curth; granddaughters, Margaux, Charlotte, and Greyson, all of Chesapeake, VA; brother, Richard Pratt and wife Sandra of Green Valley, AZ; brothers-in-law, Ron Gulke and wife Leslie, Alvin Gulke and wife Laurie, all of Clovis, CA; sister-in-law, Mary Bolin of Fresno, CA; childhood best friend, Rick Steitz; cousins, Linda Brase, Ron Brase, Valerie Swindle, Cindy Wilky, David Wilky, and Susan Wilky; numerous nieces and nephews; loving co-workers, Toni Avina, Lynn Sasai, Hillary Smith, Vicki Smith, and Paulette Villa; and fabulous neighbors, Susan and George Alexander, Marcie Besel, Cecelia and Brett Dorian, and Ruth Gadebusch. The Weiss family would like to thank Dr. Michael Moffett, his staff, the Clovis Community Oncology nurses, specifically, Sangita, and Shelia, Melony; and Case Manager, Erica, during Tim's lengthy hospital stays, for their outstanding, care and kindness, which was very much appreciated.
