My deepest sympathy to the Owens clan. Our fathers were 'Best Buds' at Greyhound, and though I had not encountered Tim for many years, we were classmates at McLane, and I can still picture Tim coming into a class wearing one of his huge, signature belt buckles! R.I.P., Tim

Bev,
I am so sorry for your loss. Maria said it well. I still remember the night the two of you met and the way he lit up your smile. My heart goes out to you, my friend.

Tim left an indelible mark on me from the many years ago when Bev introduced him to me. He had a strong sense of personal pride, and he worked hard to overcome issues that wanted to block his efforts. He made me smile and he was easy to be around. He was always well put-together and I teased him about his crisp, freshly ironed jeans! I'm glad Tim and Bev were able to have so many good years before he was called away so suddenly! I love you Bev, and I am heartily sorry for your terrible loss.

Dear Marilyn and Family

I wished I had hugged Tim a little tighter and a little longer the last time I saw him. Of course I had no way of knowing it would be the last time. I wish I had said to him how much I enjoyed sharing so many childhood memories. Like.....swimming all summer long at Air ways and North Maple Plunge, Roller skating together, walking fences, and playing like we were water skiing off the back of old trunk we found in your Dad's garage. What an imagination Tim had.. We went to Sunday School and confirmation together. He introduced me to my first love in the 7th grade. I will never forget Timothy.

Tim was an upbeat, honest, optimist who always believed the glass was half full and things will only get better. His smile was his calling card and he carried the message in both word and deed. Tim learned that life's speedbumps were just that, speedbumps and that given time, patience, and faith they can be overcome. Generous to a fault, Tim would help when asked and never asked for repayment. I will miss you my friend.
