Ventura, California - Tricia Ann Riffenburgh was born on February 17, 1966 to John & Mary Ann Harter in Fresno, CA. She was living in Ventura, CA. when she died where she was an active member of the community. There she raised her two children, Nichole & Ryan, who were the center of her world.

She graduated from McLane High School in 1984 where she was very active in school government and cheerleading. Tricia attended Fresno City College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating in 1989. During her school years she represented them as Student Body President and twice selected to compete in the California Bowl activities.

Tricia was a professional fundraiser for both non-profit and political organizations. She met many famous people while she was working in Washington, D.C. & various places in CA. She was honored by the Melanoma Cancer Society for her work in drawing attention to the cancer.

You could always find her on the dance floor. Beginning at 4 until 58 it was part of her DNA and she included all the people around her to join in.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Harter and her grandparents. She is survived by daughter, Nichole & fiancé Caeden Schlosser, son, Ryan, mother, Mary Ann Harter, brother, Mike Harter & partner Laurie Maul, nephew, Mike Harter, and many cousins she grew up with.

A memorial service will be held on June 8 at 12pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3973 N. Cedar St. Fresno, lunch reception following. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Aim at Melanoma 5729 Lebanon Rd. Suite 144-305 Frisco, TX 75034.
