TROY LAIRD

Troy Laird went to heaven to join his parents and brother on Tuesday, September 20 , 2016 , with family at his side. He passed at the age of 73. Troy was born in Hobart, OK, but made his life in Clovis, CA, and attended Clovis Schools. He met the love of his life, Darlene Tavares, of Caruthers, CA, in 1963. They were married 52 years and had three daughters. Troy was a Body and Fender Journeyman for over 45 years. Troy was preceded in death by his mom, Lois Parker; his dad, Troy Laird Sr.; his brother, Danny Laird; and his mother-in-law, Lena Cunha. He leaves behind his loving wife Darlene; daughter, Charlene Piepmeier and husband James; daughter, Michelle Rippee and husband Robert; and daughter, Lynnette Laird. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Jared Piepmeier, Audrey Piepmeier, Caley Piepmeier, Steven Rippee, Alex Rippee, Ashley Rippee, and Travis Laird. He is also survived by his cherished sister, Judy Mann and her husband John, and their children, Matt, Devin and Leslie; as well as his sister-in-law, Carol Laird; sister-in-law, Sharon Tavares; and brother-in-law, Stan Tavares. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church, 208 W.
