Viola Castro Obituary

VIOLA MAE CASTRO "Vi" Viola was born on September 5, 1940, in Fresno, California. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 26, 2007. On December 12, 1958, she married Frank Castro. They celebrated 48 years of marriage together and raised four children. Vi was a consistent top producing outside sales woman of office furnishing and supplies for 40 years. Vi's stationary sales began with her uncle's store, Drumrights Office Supplies and concluded with her retirement from Office Depot. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Frank Castro; daughters, Deniece Turner and Debra Hiett; two sons, Anthony Castro and Joe Castro; and five grandchildren Derrick, Malia, Christopher, Matthew, and Emma. She is also survived by her brother, Sonny Fox of Clovis. Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Calaveras Chapel at Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Belmont Memorial Park. I will always remember your unique smile and that first and lasting impression of you back in 1979 at Sierra Hospital. You always said hello and gave me the feeling you genuinely cared when you asked how I was doing. God Bless your family through their loss and heavens gain. You have been trully a blessing to many.
