On October 19, 2024 Matthew Robert Bynum slipped from this world into the arms of his Lord Jesus. Matthew leaves his parents Robert and Starr Bynum along with Heather Foley, their children, and extensive family and friends. Matthew was born on August 17, 1978 in Homer and was a life long Alaskan. He loved hunting, humor, and living life on the edge. An accomplished mechanic, Matthew usually had grease on his fingers and a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew him. Please join Matthew's family and friends as we remember him on November 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at Summit Worship Center located at 125 W Riley Ave, Wasilla, Alaska.

Dear Bynum Family,
Our hearts are towards yours along with our prayers in this time of loss. When I think of Matt, I think of what a sweet and proud big brother he was and his kind smile. I also think of the compassion, wisdom and care he shined towards others like Rob and Starr do as well being an example of their loving Lord and Savior.
