Terry Dean Fouts
December 17, 1942 - January 19, 2025
Terry Fouts (82) passed away from prostate cancer on January 19th at his home in Houston, Alaska (former resident of Big Lake, Alaska). He served in the U.S. Airforce from 1962-1982 and earned numerous awards for his leadership and devotion to duty, including being awarded the Bronze Star.
He first moved to Alaska in 1972 and after retiring from the Airforce he had several jobs including Alaska Village Electric Cooperation for 10 years. He had several hobbies including racing motorcycles, cars, and snow machines. He loved to serve along with his wife, Pat, in various church ministries over the years.
Terry loved God, his country, and his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Ruth Doris Fouts, his first wife, Charlotte Fouts, his brother, Jerry Fouts, and his daughter, Tamara (Tami) Spaulding of Wasilla, Alaska.
He is survived by his current wife, Patricia Fouts, children, Beth Westland (Erick), Brian Fouts (Kathleen), son-in-law, Troy Spaulding and his stepchildren, April Foster (Jerry), Andrew Bunker, and Amee Reese, plus his stepmother, Janet Fouts, eight siblings and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Love will be held at Summit Worship Center 125 W. Riley Ave, Wasilla, AK 99654 on February 8th at 2 p.m. with reception following. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Summit Worship Center- Memo: Terry Fouts Missions Fund.

My dear brother Terry you will be deeply missed by Reuben and I so much. We were so happy to be able to see you throughout the years. We have so many great memories with you. You can now rest peacefully with dad, brother Jerry, daughter Tami. The rest of your brothers and sisters will miss you also Jim, Sheila, Janell (Jack) Freeman, Janet and friend (Gary Derenzy),Emmett Jr., Virgil. Rest in peace my brother. Love you

Mark shared several years of friendship with Terry n Charlotte in the garage with ongoing stories with the guys sometimes repeatedly the same . Many snowmobile experiences to Gabberts, Petersville, and places along Yukon river , Iditarod send offs along the trails near Big Lake - Houston . Terry knew the trails very well May he rest in peace with loved ones. Pat and Beth you have our deepest sympathy. Mark n Marlena
