Chris R. "CR" Ricker, 67, of Michigantown, Indiana, died unexpectedly June 15, 2021 in his home. He was born on Jan. 18, 1954 in Frankfort to Ted B. and Barbara J. (Caldwell) Ricker. He married Cliston S. Doolittle in August 1995 and she preceded him in death on Feb. 2, 2021.
CR was a lifelong Clinton County resident and a 1972 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a lifelong NAPA Associate and enjoyed antique cars, restoring cars and was currently restoring a Studebaker.
Surviving are his: Mother: Barbara J. Ricker of Frankfort; Daughters: Rhea (Nicole) Ricker of Indianapolis, Rachel (Hannah) Ricker of Goldsmith, Angela (Erik) Hulstrom of Brentwood, California, Jayne (Brent) Flatt of Carmel; Grandchildren: Danika and Aidan Hulstrom, Jackson and Adelynn Flatt, Thatcher and Jack Ricker; Brother: Jay B. (Nancy) Ricker of Pendleton; Special Friend: Lori Eldridge of Frankfort; Mother-in-law: Mary Louise Shackelford of Lafayette; Uncle: James (Phyllis) Caldwell of Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his wife and father.
Funeral Services:
Friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort, IN 46041.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association – Camp John Warvel, P.O. Box 90064, Indianapolis, IN 46240 with envelopes available at the funeral home. Make checks payable to the American Diabetes Association with Camp John Warvel in the memo.

Chris was my Uncle by Marriage. BUT Chris was such a great person. Loved By so many people. Chris was a great Uncle to Me. He will be missed by us all. Loved by so many of us. God BLESS.
