Janet (Stockberger) Duke, 81, of Niles, Ohio, died Nov. 3, 2021 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center, Warren, Ohio. She was born Aug. 17, 1940 in Michigantown to Chalmer and Berniece (Bougher) Stockberger. She married Aubrey Duke Sr. in 1964, and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Janet attended Michigantown School and grew up in Michigantown. She has lived in Niles, Ohio for 56 years. She was a waitress for Plaza Donut in Warren, Ohio. Janet enjoyed spending time with family and friends, country music, playing euchre and especially loved her grandchildren and all her nieces and nephews.

Janet is survived by three daughters, Lisa Blaylock of Niles, Ohio, Rhonda (Pat) Tuggle of Carterville, Illinois, and Robin Bobbie of Niles, Ohio: two sons, Aubrey (Shannin) Duke Jr. of Niles, Ohio, and Rick Duke of Warren, Ohio; a sister, Marilynn Robertson of California; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Marjorie Snyder, Judy Robison, Dorothea Bitner and Shirley Young; six brothers, Junior, Dick, Max, LeMoine, David and Larry Stockberger; and a granddaughter, Randi Wells.

Visitation was from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Graveside services were at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown. Please visit goodwinfuneral home.com where you may share a message with the family.
