Judy C. Brant, 79, rural Frankfort, died Sept. 23, 2021 at Wesley Manor. She was born Sept. 7, 1942 in Clinton County to Vatchel and Bernice (Boxnell) Skaggs. She married Paul Brant on Aug. 17, 1962, and he survives.

Judy was a 1960 graduate of Frankfort High School and a lifelong Clinton County resident. She was a private-duty caregiver providing both home care and at Wesley Manor and a member of the Geetingsville Presbyterian Church. Judy enjoyed traveling, playing games, watching westerns and was an avid reader. The family thanks Wesley Manor for the care.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by a daughter, Amy (Carl Ray Jr.) Paris of Lafayette; son, Randy Brant of Frankfort; brother, William Skaggs of Wellton, Arizona; sister, Connie Skaggs of Lynn; five nephews, Robert Skaggs of Wellton, Arizona, Mark (Diane) George of Phoenix, Arizona, Brad (Glenda) Skaggs of Frankfort, Michael Skaggs of Lafayette and Dan (Sharon) Kellow of Greenwood; and a niece, Stacy (Roland) Hahn of Joliet, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Warren and Mary Agnes Brant; sister, Shelley Renfro; and two brothers, James and Larry Skaggs.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Geetingsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, Lebanon.
