Pamela Kay Sledd, 62, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021.
She was born Dec. 30, 1958, in Tyler, TX, to the late James and Ida (Camp) Baker.
Her marriage was to Roger Sledd, and he precedes her in death.
Pamela worked at NHK in Frankfort.
Pamela was a hard worker who loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds, cooking and will be remembered for her Fourth of July parties.
Surviving is a daughter, Penny (Dennis) Anes of Frankfort; sisters, Cindi McCracken and Ruth (Rick) Moore both of Frankfort, Cheryl Rogers of Metropolis, Illinois, and Pat (Roger) Henson of Brookport, Illinois; and brothers, Tim (Amanda Combs) Baker of Kentucky, Billy (Amanda) Baker of Missouri and Jim Bob Baker of Frankfort. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Mason Etherton, Derek Merritt, Keegan Smith, Ciara (Matt) Dunham and David Anes, as well as three great-grandchildren, Max, Winston and Brody along with several nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Promise Mays, and a brother, Ray Baker.
Visitation for Pamela will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette. Friends and family of Promise are also invited.
The funeral service for Pamela will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette, with Rev. Dr. Phil Collier officiating. Interment will follow at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
A celebration of Promises' life will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Trish's Red Bird Café, 696 Walnut St Dayton, IN. Family and friends of both Promise and Pamela are invited.
