Beatrice Ellis Obituary

Funeral service for Beatrice "Marilyn" Benson Ellis will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at New Destiny Christian Church, with interment in Lincoln Hill Cemetery.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Willie James and Maggie Johnson Benson; three sisters, Priscilla Woods, Sallie Ann Malone and Jeanette Benson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Eddie Charles Ellis; a son, Gerry (Avis) Benson; a daughter, Veronica (Vincent) Looney; two brothers, Willie James (Brenda) Benson Jr. and Jimmy Lee (Ava) Benson; sisters, Miranda Jean Edwards, Willie Mae Starr and Joyce (Carl) Jackson; seven grandchildren, LeBrandon Sandridge, Breeanna Benson, Laquesha Benson, Brookia Benson, Kelcey Sandridge, Alicia Benson and Hope Benson; 11 great-grandchildren; special children, Cedric Ellis, Sabrina (Shawn) Beasdell, Tiffany (Neal) Hayes and Eddie Ellis Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
