Betty Haley Obituary
She was a member of the class of 1960 from Carver High School and Men of Integrity Flower Bearers.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Robert Haley Sr., Gadsden; two sons, Brian Haley and Robert (Boo) Haley Jr., both of Gadsden; two daughters, Natalie (Charles) Thompson and Cathy Haley, both of Jonesbora, Ga.; special daughter, Acquanetta Green-Towers, Fayetteville, Ga.; 13 precious grandchildren, Brittany, Warren, Rashad, Karina, Daven, Justin, Ratez, Za'Ria, Za'Miyah, Zavian, Kaliyan, Kaylen and Zenay; one goddaughter, Tiffany Cooper; eight brothers, James (Mary) Reed Jr., Rochester, N.Y., William (Marsha) Coats, Gadsden, Kenneth (Pearl) Reed, Frederick Reed, Kevin (Sharon) Reed, Reginald (Michelle) Reed, Ronald (Evelyn) Reed, all of Rochester, N.Y., Keith (Virginia) Reed, Birmingham; four sisters, Jennifer (Arthur) Collington, Cynthia (Tic) Smith, Paula (Ian) John, all of Rochester, and Rita Reed, Missouri; four extended siblings, Lavornia (Leonard) Prather, Union City, Ga., Doris (Homer) Parker, Buffalo, N.Y., Jackie Cattling, Gadsden, and Lavorn Moore Jr., Chattanooga, Tenn.; three aunts, Clara Harris, Buffalo, N.Y., Ora J. McDonald, Piedmont, and Ethyl Coats, Tallahassee, Fla.; very special cousins, Sallie Jo Green and Annie Pearl Kennon; stepmother-in-law, Artie Lipscomb Haley; seven brothers-in-law, Harvey (Nina) Haley Jr., Harold (Brenda) Haley, Howard (Paulette) Lipscomb, William (Brenda) Lipscomb, Eric Haley, Andre (Tina) Haley and Calvin Burney; three sisters-in-law, Bernice Haley, Debbie Gaddis Haley and Alice Lovelady-Haley; special nieces and nephews, Katrina Flambo, Angela Chambers, Jacquella Cattling, Tina, Rena and Oscar Cattling IV; special friends, Yvonne Cooper and Bernice Lewis; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service at the church.
