Ernest Samples Obituary
Mr. Samples served in the United States Army and later retired from Smith Equipment Service after several years of employment. He was a member of New Life Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elsie Samples; brothers, Charles, Bobby, Scoot and Bud Samples; grandchildren, Terry Hubert Lee Hulsey and Jerome "Spanky" Collins; and brothers-in-law, Andy and Charles Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Samples; children, Hubert Ray (Theresa) Hulsey, Terry Hulsey, Ernest M. (Anita) Samples Jr., Donna (Ray) Taylor, Becky Samples, Penny (Robert) George, Selina (Ed) Vasek, Randall (Wanda) Hulsey, Ginger (Steve) Norton, Denise "Rabbit" (Mike) Messier; sister, Carolyn Worth; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
