Jeffrey Barron Obituary
Jeff was a 1973 graduate of Emma Sansom High, where he was a member of the Rebel Band and Rebel Americans Choir. He sang with the Damascus Road Band.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph "Red" Barron; mother, June Barron; sister, Marlise "Goose" Bolton; and grandparents.
He is survived by his special love and fiancée, Peggy Williamson Preston; daughter, Jessica Barron; son, Jeffrey Scott Barron; special aunt and uncle, Betty and Raymond Covington; grandchildren, Heavenlea Paige, Savannah Grace and Miley Joy Barron; aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Art Riley, Tony Silvey, Alan Hall, Paul Harbison, Greg Hood and Frank Rasberry.
Special thanks to Tony Silvey, Alacare Hospice and special nurse, Kelly Parsons.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday night at the church.

I am very sadden by the passing of a man I was able to call a friend and golf buddy. The golfing at Briar Mead were so special to me. We laughed due to us usually playing the entire course in the woods. You asked me what the fairways were for. I said to drive the cart up to our golf balls. We did some damage to those tress my friend. My thoughts are with you, your family and your son Clark Barron. I had the pleasure to know this young man for a time. Clark, you are in my thoughts through this time. Jeff have a beautiful life in heaven and have a golf cart ready for when we meet again.
