John Riddle Obituary
John was a Christian man who served many years as a deacon and Sunday School teacher at East Gadsden Baptist Church. He spent most of his career as Director of Environmental Services at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Gadsden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Ruby Riddle; and beloved grandmother, Ruth Roberts Riddle.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Adams Riddle; daughters, Aleece (Kevan) McGehee, Amanda (fiancé Scott Cheatham) Riddle; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Samuel) McElwee; sister, Donna (Robert) Shamblin; several nieces and nephews; and his constant companions, Spanky and Cricket.
Memorial donations may be made to East Gadsden Baptist Church or the Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center at 4200 Brooke Ave., Rainbow City, AL 35906.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 4 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.

Terri, I am blessed to have known John and to have been touched by his life. He was as inspiration to me and also a joy to be around on so many occasions! I rejoice at his departure from this life into the joys of Heaven! What a hope to have eternal life in Christ! May you find peace that only God can give in the days to come......As Bob Wood once said.."Hold fast to God in times of trouble!" God bless you!
