Jordan Beck Obituary

Jordan Lee Beck
Gadsden - Jordan Lee Beck, 23, of Gadsden, beloved son, brother, and grandson, passed away on January 21st, 2021. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 30th, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Pleasant Valley Cemetery (605 County Rd 3, Collinsville, AL 35961). Pastor Mark Price will officiate. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.
Jordan was a graduate of Southside High School, and attended Gadsden State Community College as well as Jacksonville State University. He loved nothing better than being outdoors with family and friends fishing, hunting, and camping together. "He loved his people."
Jordan will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. He had a smile that would light up the room, and if he loved you, he loved you fiercely. His love for his family and friends was with his whole heart. Jordan will be missed desperately on this Earth, but we rejoice in knowing we will be united in heaven with him for eternity one day.
We will never be able to thank everyone enough who searched, prayed, and lent support to us throughout this ordeal. Every act of kindness and love has meant so much. Your continued prayers are appreciated.
Preceding Jordan in death are his great grandparents, Chester and Marion Cielocha, Darnell and Emma Lou Day; grandfather, Gene Day; grandparents, L.J. and Elaine Beck; and aunt, Robin Day.
Leaving to treasure his precious memories are his mother, Kim Beck; father, Don Beck; brother, Jarred (Whitney) Beck; precious nephew, Jackson Lee Beck; grandparents, Gary and Sandra (Day) Garris; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Nolan Pentecost, Kaleb Yancey, Cory Patigayon, Jacob Cunningham, Dakota Duncan, and Hunter Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Church of The Highlands in memory of Jordan Beck (3660 Grandview Pkw, Birmingham, AL 35243). Memorial contributions will be used for "Giving Hope", which provides Christmas for children in our Gadsden area. Jordan volunteered for years with the Charity Pig Roast, which provided Christmas toys for families. We feel nothing would make him more proud than for donations to be made in his name.

I didn't know Jordan, but I've heard a lot about him from his sweet mom, Kim Beck. I know what you're going through because I've been through it too. I was so shocked when I heard it last week. I am so sorry and I wish I could make it better. I love you Kim, and I'm praying for you and your family.
