Larry Daugherty Obituary
Gadsden - Larry W. Daugherty, 69, of Gadsden, passed away Wednesday, December 16th, 2020. Memorial services with Pastor Bradley Mullinax officiating will be announced at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.
Larry was a 1969 graduate of Etowah High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Talbot in 1970. They remained happily married until his passing. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Rainbow City Hot Rod Club and rarely ever missed a car show.
Preceding Larry in death are his parents, Robert and Elizabeth Daugherty; brothers, Phenias Daugherty, and Anthony Daugherty; and niece, Toni Daugherty Snell.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Pamela T. Daugherty; children, Casey (Ben) Lackey, and Matt Daugherty; grandchildren, Elizabeth Lackey, Mattie Lackey, and Olivia Daugherty; brother, Roy Daugherty; and several nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Daugherty, Ron Daugherty, Zack Johnson, Taylor Talbot, Evan Talbot, Rainbow City Hot Rod Club, and his close friends from Bellsouth/AT&T.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to James Memorial Baptist Church.
The family would like to express a special thanks to 8 West, 8 East, and MICU nurses at Grandview Medical Center.

Knew Larry all the way through Grammar,Middle & High School..I also worked with him at Thomas Wholesale.. He and Pam were married while he was working there.. Larry was one of a kind.. Miss You Buddy!!

Larry was a nice guy .He liked cutting up and having fun.I spent a lot of time at his house as a kid .His mom and mine Betty Holland were best friends . So sorry to here of his passing .Praying for you Pam and family.
