Larry McElroy Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mancil and Carrie McElroy and Dorothy "Dot" McElroy; brothers, Billy, Bobby and DJ McElroy; sisters, Mary Faith Ashley, Becky Pettit, Judy McElroy Corranza.
Larry was a die-hard Alabama fan and lived life for his grandson.
He retired from Gulf States Steel after 36 years.
He volunteered for Coats Bend Volunteer Fire Department.
Bro. Shannon Caudle will officiate the memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bachelors Chapel Church. The church will open at 1 p.m.
The family would like to thank the nurses/staff of Gadsden Regional SICU.

Uncle Larry was the best.. He was my favorite uncle ..as kids we loved going to aunt Linda and uncle Larry's.. As adults we get caught up in life and don't see or spend time with family but the memories never leave you.. I love you aunt Linda,.sending you love n prayer's.. RIP UNCLE LARRY
