Lois McCarver Corfman, 96, Gadsden, passed away on October 14, 2015.
Mrs. Corfman was a lifelong resident of Gadsden and was office manager for Dr. Wilson and Dr. Arthur for many years. She was also a lifetime member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Corfman; daughter-in-law, Sharon Corfman; sisters, Virginia McCarver, Annie Bell Windom; and brothers, James, Howard and Bobby McCarver.
She is survived by sons, Bob (Mary) Corfman and Jim Corfman; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and one great-great granddaughter; sisters, Dorothy (J.T.) Jacobs, Betty (Bob) Freeman; and brother, Ray (Mildred) McCarver.
Private entombment was held at Forrest Cemetery Mausoleum. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge. The family requests no flowers.
The family would like to thank Mountain Cove Assisted Living, Dr. Roden, Dr. Castillo, Amedisys Hospice and the ninth-floor staff of Gadsden Regional Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Corfman.

to the Corfman family: I cant tell you what a profound privelege it is to have known and loved Mrs. Corfman. Her sweet spirit will always be remembered by those who knew her. Truly a great lady.
