So many people see in death nothing but a cruel seperation from loved ones. Even good and religious people make that sad mistake: In death there is certainly the very real pain and sorrow of this seperation. But it is equally true that our loved ones are still with us. Darkness.........no, far off distant place...........no, they go onto a journey to eternal life. We can't see her yet because we are still in the dark. Mom's eyes are filled with the light of heaven and will be watching us until the day we can be with her to dance with the angels. I have reflected on this beautiful truth and found it to be the greatest and surest comfort in this time of mourning. A firm faith in the real and continual presence that Mom has brought the conviction that death has not destroyed her or carried her away but it has given her an eternal life. With this new life and power Mom will always be with us, knowing and loving us more now than ever in a perfect way. I will be loveingly and tenderly waiting for the day when I too can can join her in the doorway to our eternal home to join her in the union of peace and the joy of heaven. Love you, your son, Drew

My dearest Mom Wood,
I am so lucky to have had you as my mother in law. I promise I will always love and cherish Larry. So many people are not as fortunate as I to have had a mother in law as good as you, and I'm thankful for that.We will carry you in our hearts always. I know you and Harold are smiling and "Dancing with the Angels" in Heaven. I love you Mom Wood.I miss you so much.
