Michael Snider Obituary
Michael Snider passed away at home on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, after a short battle with cancer. Mike was a member of Midway Church in Villa Rica, GA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilburn and Ollie Snider, John Wilkinson, and step-grandfather, Jack Van Marion.
He leaves behind his only son, John "JW" Snider; his daughter, Brittany Coll (Nick); two grandsons, Tanner and Sylas; his parents, Dennis and Deborah Snider; maternal grandmother, Helen Van Marion; and step-grandmother, Nellie Wilkinson.
His extended family includes aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of loving and caring friends.
Mike never met a stranger and never failed to be a friend to the friendless. He openly shared all his life with those around him and used all his life experiences to help others see the Way. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and will be missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced in the coming days.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
