Nicholas Messier Obituary
Alex was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on Aug. 2, 1991. He graduated from Glencoe High School and lived most of his life throughout Etowah County, Alabama. Alex's son, Carson Messier, was his whole world. He enjoyed spending most of his time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing and other outdoor activities, sports (especially football), and music (especially singing along). Alex was a very loving, caring, passionate person with a huge heart and bigger-than-life personality who would do anything and everything he possibly could for anyone.
Alex is preceded in death by his grandparents, Great Granddaddy and Grandmother Cruce, Great Granddaddy and Granny Strachan, Great Granddaddy and Grandmother Messier, and his Aunt Kimberly Elkins.
Alex is survived by his parents, Nick Messier and Ellen Kelley; grandparents, Ed and Evelyn Cruce, Pricilla and Doyle Giles; son, Carson Messier; sister, Laken Messier Gann; niece, Taylor Mallet; Aunt Ema Cruce; Uncle Mike Messier; Uncle James Doran; Uncle Charles Cruce; LaShawna Smith; and a great many other relatives.
The visitation will be at Village Chapel Funeral Home, 101 Vandell Blvd., Gadsden, on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service will be at Village Chapel Funeral Home, 101 Vandell Blvd., Gadsden, on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at 2 p.m.

I loved you more than you could've ever imagined. You were here one day and gone the next, I would say what everyone else says; "I have so much to tell you", but I don't. You knew how much I loved you, and you knew that no matter what, I would've always done everything I could have for you. I miss you so much Bubba!! Rest easy!
