Patricia Rutledge Obituary
She was of the Baptist faith, an avid Alabama Football fan, lifelong resident of Etowah County. She loved her family, and they loved her, and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by husband, Charles "Chief" Rutledge; daughter, Freida Langley Davidson; stepdaughter, Susan Rutledge Ellis; brothers, Travis, Billy and Gary Wolfe; sister, Peggy Carpenter; special friend, Ms. T.J. Brown.
She is survived by sons, David (Norma) Langley of Fayetteville, N.C., Jimmy (Jeannie) Ennis of Troy, Ala.; daughters, Donna (Pete) Wagnon of Glencoe, Tina (Scott) Smith of Hokes Bluff; stepson, Jack (Trinna) Rutledge; stepdaughter, Janet (David) Herring of Gadsden; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Imogene Wolfe of Piedmont, Ala.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Lung Association, 55 West Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601.
Special thanks to the staff of North Gadsden Assisted Living: Alisha, Emily, Rachel, Maeghan, Annethia, Lisa, Roderick, Shannon, Terri Lynn; Amedisys Home Health Care; Drs. Sandra Carpenter, Danny, Daniel and Dierick Sparks; and Dr. Donimic Homan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
