Shanon Morgan Obituary
Shanon was a 2003 graduate of Gadsden High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was employed at Winn-Dixie of Rainbow City for 11 years. She enjoyed mowing the grass, taking care of her dogs (her babies), staying on the beach and boating on the river.
Shanon was a special gift to many, and changed many lives. She will always be remembered through her bright smile and kind heart.
Shanon was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Horace Morgan and Jerry Crowder; and uncle, Benny Hallmark.
Survivors: fiancé, Clay Grogan (in-laws, Kenneth and Robbie Grogan), Southside; parents, Roger (Joyce) Morgan, Gadsden; paternal grandmother, Sue Hopper Morgan, Gadsden; maternal grandmother, Octavia Crowder, Gadsden; Hallmark family, McWhorter family and Grogan family; special pets, Molly, Gracie, Lilly and Raleigh; sister, Nicole Morgan (Aaron) Ross, Brandon, Fla.; niece, Morgan Leighann Ross, Brandon, Fla.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Etowah County Humane Society.
Pallbearers: Aaron Ross, Mike Fisher, Kerry Cranford, Todd Hallmark, Tyler Pankey, David McWhorter and Joel White.
Special thanks to Vanderbilt Cancer Center, staff at Gadsden Cancer Center, all Goodyear Associates, all Winn-Dixie employees, Shepherd's Cove of Albertville, Kendall Cranford Purcell, Maegan Handy Fisher, Kristen Maples and Kim McWhorter.
There will not be any visitation.

i did'nt know Sharon but in my own life my mom has had breast cancer and her sister my aunt in the last year had cancer on both sides of her brain in her lung' and lymphnobes, God got a special angel cause he only takes the best sometimes sooner than we would like, in the days to come my your greif be short for the memories long.

Shanon you are an amazing person. You took me in jus like you knew me your whole life even though we only knew each other for about 7 years & you, Joyce, Roger, and Nicole made me feel like part of your family. You made such a positive impact on everyone around you & I will always think of you as my sister & you are now my guardian angel too. =] I will think of you every day & night. Me and Kerry (your "brother") think of you constantly and talk about all the good times yall had together.
