Gaffney - Boyce Edward McAbee, 76, of 256 Hampshire Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Dale Perry McAbee and son of the late Boyce J. McAbee and Ruby Mullinax McAbee. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Reliance Electrical, and was the retired owner/operator of Associate Erectors & Welding. He loved his family and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a daughter, Deidra Hummel (John) of Gaffney; a sister, Judy Lanier (Wayne) of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Mikayla Hummel and Makenzie Hummel; a great-grandson, Triton Smith; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian McAbee and a brother, Dickie McAbee.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Reverend Tim Osment officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
The family will be at their respective homes.

I just learned of Boyce passing today. A great man I will miss him have many fond memories working with him at Sanders Brothers years ago.
