Blacksburg - Christopher Martin Bowen, 48, of Mill Spring, NC, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Born in Kings Mountain, NC, Chris was the son of Buford Martin Bowen and the late Janice Kay Childers Bowen. He worked as an electrician.
Chris is survived by his father, Martin Bowen, and his step-mother, Jeanna Bowen; his children, Kayley Bowen, Noah Bowen, and Zachary Montgomery; and his siblings, Beverly Bowen, Russell Chapman, and Michael Sapier.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Childers Bowen, and his brother, Daniel Chapman.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 12th, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will be Friday, December 13th, 2024 at 11:00 am at Gloryland Missionary Baptist Church, 101 Benfield Road, Kings Mountain, NC with Rev. David Murray officiating. Josh Foster, Russell Chapman, Nick Norris, Julius Matthews, Justin Sutherland, and Logan Chilson will serve as pallbearers.

Condolences to the Bowen family. I went to school with Chris we had alot of laughs together . It saddens me. I look back to those years so care free so much fun . There were many, that I knew their lives was too short. Thank you for the memories Chris .
