Claudia Queen Crook,79 of Blacksburg SC, wife of Michael Crook, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her husband and 4 children on Nov 2, 2025.
Claudia was born on July 26, 1946, in Union SC and was the daughter of the late Robert Queen and Helen Raines Queen.
Claudia is survived by four children Angela Howell of Union, Kimberley Greene, Charles Wood Jr and Susan Lively all of Laurens SC. With 6 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
She is also survived by 4 stepchildren Michael Crook Jr of Blacksburg, Kenny & Scott Shelton of Laurens and Sherri Miller of Greenwood SC. With 7 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Robert & Peggy Queen and a Sister Kathy Queen & Billy Richardson of Union SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeanette Q Gregory.
Claudia loved the lord with all her heart and was a strong faithful compassionate woman that had a smile and kind words for anyone she would meet. She worked in the Medical Field as a CNA in Home Health Care and as a Post Office Rural Carrier in Blacksburg SC.
Claudia loved to sing and dance and enjoyed time with her family and friends. She loved riding motorcycles, assisting her husband with BBQ cooking, enjoyed trips to the mountains and beaches with family.
Claudia wanted a Life of Celebration planned at a later date to give her husband and children time to heal and to prepare at a later date. She will be missed and always loved.
The family will be at their respective homes.
